For your convenience, I have uploaded a few Avatars to the club website. click here to see them www.wingdingers-rc.com/avatars.html
To use them:
If using FireFox Browser:
1.select the one you want to use & right click on it,
2. select "copy image location"
3. Come back here to the forum and click on your "profile" (you must still be logged on)
4. Go to the "Avatar Control Panel" at the bottom of the screen and right click on "Upload avatar from a URL" and select "paste"
5. Click on "submit"

If using Interner Explorer Browser:
1. Select the one you want & right click on it
2. Click on "Properties"
3. Left click and drag to highlight the URL address of the avatar example: "http://www.wingdingers-rc.com/images/avatars/thepicture"
4. Come back here to the forum and click on your "profile" (you must still be logged on)
5. Go to the "Avatar Control Panel" at the bottom of the screen and right click on "Upload avatar from a URL" and select "paste"
6. Click on "submit"

As an alternate, you can also right click on the image and select "Save image as"(Firefox) or "Save Picture as" (I.E.) and save it to a folder on your PC. Then at the "avatar control panel" select "upload avatar from your machine" and select the file you just saved.

Your done. To see the result, create or respond to a post (or go to one that you already created) You can also go back to your profile and see it displayed at the bottom of the page.

There are also many free avatar sites on the web. Just do a web search to find them, and of course you can use any other personal picture as long as you resize it to be no larger than 100 X100 pixels and 10kb. Personal pictures must not be offensive and will be removed by the administer of this forum and the user banned.

Use the same instructions above to activate. Very Happy
