Well guys, with spring right around the corner, I hope your wrapping up the projects your working on. Lets take a poll to see what we can look forward to seeing at the field in a few weeks. I am working on an old Carl Goldberg kit called a Sky Tiger Jr. I bought this kit from Dwight Hunter many years ago and it still has the price tag from Mel's for $37.50. It is the .25 size (discontinued) little brother of the popular Sky Tiger, Tiger 2 and Tiger 60. I'm going to power it with an OS .32SX which should give it plenty of ooomph! I'll post pictures of the progress when I get around to it.

There's nothing on the table ,but the drawings for two have been printed amd pasted together. I don't have a plotter so the CAD program commands the page printer to put out a preselected area of the drawing and then I have to assemble (scotch tape) them together. This is done for fuselage sides, wings, tail surfaces amd any other pieces that won't print on a single sheet of paper. Hey! Nobody ever said that scratch building is easy.
The wood has been ordered and received(except that I screwed up and forgot to order a sheet of 1/32x6x48 plywood). I'll have to put in another order.
The two planes are a 48" Bucker Jungmeister and a low wing sport to replace that one I destroyed before Christmas(remember that). You can't let an engine lie around idle. I said that I wouldn't build another bipe, but the size of this one will allow me transport it assembled. I bought another Magnum .52 4 stroke at the AMA web-site to power it.

Sounds great, can't wait to see them. I'm glad to here that you're building. Scratch builders are a dying breed! Sad Not too may people even kit building anymore. Can't say I blame them, with all of the excellent quality ARFs out there today. The kit I am working on is the 1st one I have built for a couple of years (other than the little electric one I have posted in the for sale section), and now I remember why... takes too much time Exclamation But, if you want something a little different than the "cookie cutter" planes that everyone else has, I guess that's what you have to do! Very Happy
